How Art Connects Us

Art connects us as a language of light. We enter the studio, throw open the doors and windows, and allow the daylight and the nightlight to come be with us.

We are in relationship with the inner well-spring of existence, we allow, we allow, we allow, and in this we are given. We give ourselves to the wild numinous light and are enwrapped in its safety. From this safe space we can express freely the natural organic nature of artfulness.

To art is to see, to see deeply, to see, to gaze, to hold the gaze and allow the gift its presence. In the gaze is the room, the expanse, the breath. Breathe deep.

We work in so many levels, layers, dimensions, that as we travel, we must be aware of the gift we are being given. Compassion for ourselves and other, as the light of art brightens our life and those around us.

An adventure is what art is. It will take you to places that others have said don't exist, it will take to you the deep below. There you must learn to breath all over again.

The studio teaches you to breathe, to look, to see, to gaze, to hold the gaze so that you can feel the freedom and feel safe in the light of new, different, unusual, odd, unknown, or known differently.

Hope this day finds you excited to be able to see beyond life's limits, to be aware of the lighted gifts that come your way.
