From All Ways Always

Art comes to you from all ways, always it arrives. The light is what we are looking for, to, to begin each day. The night gives it rest, the rest of the day. The day gives us the night with the lights on.

We have to look, to see. We have to want, to need, to desire, for the arrival.

The studio. The self studio opens up when we want to enter, need to enter, desire to enter. That's when the light shows up. It always shows up in all ways.

The studio is the difference. If you haven't gone into the studio of yourself, thrown open the windows and propped open the door, the light isn't the same as when you do. Intention.

We create art all day long, we make art when we allow ourselves the freedom to see, to hold the gaze, to feel the want, to need the communication with the wild hairedness within the natural.

That's when the color comes up, the rise to the surface from the deep below makes itself present, and we allow ourselves to be taken in. We are, as artists, taken in, in to the numinous realm, the light without limits, so that we can grow. We grow like a plant in the full sun, we grow like a plant in the partial shade, and we grow like a plant that is shade loving.

All conditions, all ways, always. We find our way by being available to the new, the different, the wild haired, the unusual, the familiar seen anew. All these ways we are willing to see. We lengthen our capacity to gaze, as a plant does toward the sun, and are given renewal, strength, endurance, and compassion for being willing to see.

Hope this day finds you following the sight you are given as a gift, taking it all in, in all ways, and always sharing your creative nature as a natural part of who you are.
