Intentional Art

2015 feb 16

INTENTIONAL ART

To intend art is such a relationship that goes on and on. We are forever in our intention of artfulness. To art, as a verb, is to create from inside yourself to the outside.

Intentional art is an art that comes up from inside yourself, your studio, and expresses its inner intention to create and share its existence with the outer.

The outer is sometimes outer, and sometimes very outer, the difference being in a matter of recognition or registry. To be recognized is part of creative expression, but to register is the deeper work.

Registry is what the inner uses in its equationary movement, while recognition is the outer format of ability to move.

To intend the registry is to work with the light of completion.

We enter our studio and are surrounded by the registries of our work over a lifetime of commitment, and the completeness that has occurred within our intention.

The recognition comes from two directions, the primary inner direction, and the outer recognition, which includes those who where not present at the making. The second recognition is never primary, or can it become so.

When you create you create from what you are becoming, and you collaborate with your soul. We collaborate with our soul.

We intend that collaboration, and in our intention, we are given a rich and varied landscape/innerscape that feeds us deeply.

Hope this day finds you able to feel your intention, that you can register it, whether it is recognized by the outer or not. Share what you find. That is the work.
