We drove to the sea monster, but there wasn't one there.

Instead there was sand, sand, sand. And water. And sun. No monsters.

The sea monsters must be further out. Those low chairs, that we took, are hard to get out of, but they're comfortable. And that cup holder's nice, even though it only works for cans, not for big bottles.

The fact that there were no sea monsters, was't all that disappointing. We read our books instead, and the kids played in the sand while our chairs were slowly sinking into it, those low-rider chairs don't have all that far to go before you're looking like an accident on the beach.

Water, air, and sun can pretty much grab up all your energy by the end of the day, so we headed home when the tide ate up the beach in front of us.

Tomorrow we're not going to try and see the sea monster. We need the rest.
