November 1
Art happens in all kinds of weather, and today's cold rain and snow showers are no exception.
When you find yourself connected to your own inner studio, you cannot help but be inspired by all around you.
Let it rain, let it pour, the color is going to come anyway, no matter what, color pours out.
Ever look at the light inside of clouds? They are like paper lampshades, from creamy white to dark dark charcoal grey.
And what about snow, that paper white slate of freshness, or those orange trees, red trees, and yellow trees. The amount of color is incredible.
The studio knows this, and people know it, it's just so many are too busy to feel it.
The artist listens to the sounds of color, we listen to the sounds of color. They are notes on our canvas and paper.
We are supplied from the inside first, then, when we are fully ready, we are able to reach for what it is we need to fulfill our desires to paint.
Hope your day finds you in all kinds of weather, able to put the color to the mood and the brush to the canvas.
