Wake Up Art

Wake up art is the one that you, well, wake up with. The one that speaks to you from the inside out, that art is the one with your name on it.

Wake up art decides for you that you are going to be creative, it cuts across the grain of the whirled and says, "There's another way to do this."

When you wake up, you're already breathing for the day, just as you did all night long. Art is the same way, it's been there all along, waiting for you to notice the other door.

Habit has you coming and going from the same door most all the time, but wake up art appears when, out of the corner of your eye, or, if you're lucky, straight ahead of you, you notice this new door.

Where'd it come from, how'd it get there, how come I never saw it before? All good questions to the answer beyond the new door.

Wake up. The art of a new doorway, a new view, a new breathing room. Room, a studio that expands its meaning into your life.

The studio hums inside of us today, we feel it's pulse and rhythm, it's desire to feed and be fed by our intention to be present for the gifts of listening. Another day of diving deep into the light.
