Frozen Art

November 20

Frozen art is art that can't get out, it could be ice sculpture, but that's not the kind of frozen art we're talking about here.

To un-freeze art, you must heat up your heart. To do that, disengage from the whirled's distractions for awhile, and go inside where the studio resides, and take that deeper breath. Even deeper than that.

The thaw begins with the breath, it melts the can't, couldn't, and shouldn't.

Too many people have been frozen out of their own creativity, so a breath of fresh new air is called for.

Too many people are frozen in front of art, because they feel they can't understand it, couldn't if they tried, or should't take in something they don't already know about.

You have to look to see it, you have to be willing to look to see it,
you have to be allowing to be willing to to look to see it. It is a rhythm, it is a sound, it is a color, a line, a shape, and a texture.

Inside your studio of the Self, you have the ability to warm things up. Use your enthusiasms and passions, use your feelings for all that makes you feel happy, use your ideas as they come to you.

Be willing to look at the raw materials of new and allow the sight of it to enter you. Become a door, and a window. Become a floor, and a ceiling. Become four walls and a roof. Build your Self up, warm your Self to it.

Hope this day finds you creating a new space to be in, and willing to look at that which you used to judge as being too different, too raw, too un-clipped, to fit comfortably in any box of limitation you already knew about.

Woah...this should call out the troops to take up their creative tools and charge ahead! My creative charge today was reassuring myself that I was rearranging things to make a space new again and not just "cleaning up".....
