Sun pouring into this day, filling it with light, the eyes adjust and drink in all the gifts of color.
What does it take to keeps your focus on the light, to not be distracted by all that wants your attention?
There are so many things that have spent your life for you, what are you spending on your own life that nurtures you, makes you smile, gives to the world another light beaming?
What is it about the arts that gives and gives and gives? Light.
Light gives and gives and gives, and in return, the artist receives a lifetime of illumination.
The studio walks around with us and remarks everytime it sees light illuminating. Our eyes collect the coins of color, line, and shape, and we melt them into the creativity we are.
Can you hold the attention of yourself, longer than the outer attention demands. Demands wanting your time to fix and repair the continual broken-ness it has designed for your lifetime.
Artist know how to create new patterns of expansiveness, whereas demands only know how to contract on that which has been created.
The art of the sun only knows how to shine.
