Art is Alive

How far along can we be, if we have our eyes shut?
How much can we move forward if all we want to see is the tiniest of bits, the fewest of moments, the slightest of thoughts.
How closed and tight do you want to be? Where is the light in a closed up room?
Art is alive with open eyes, an abundance of things. It is filled to over-flowing with moments beyond measure, and thoughts abound with light.
Art can open you up if you let it, but you have to open the door. Open the windows, let the light come pouring in.
Art wears a funny hat, wears silly glasses, carries a multitude of suitcases, and moves with a mystery that stirs you awake.
Feel art in the pit of your stomach, the top of your head, between your toes. Let it in. That knocking is not your afraid knees, its art trying to give you a present.
Be present to this day, shake, rattle, and roll out the door, and pick up your stick, and draw in the sand of the shore you find yourself upon.
Let the waves of caution release. Come to a better space. Look. Look to see.
Art does not judge, critics do.
Do not criticize yourself for wanting to see something new, to create something new. This world needs new so badly that it is having one hell of a fit.
Do not have a fit over what you see, have a fit over what doesn't want you to see.
Hope your day is one that lets you see the beauty, instead of the judgement.
