What A View

What a view describes our coming back from NYC to Maine and having a perspective shift.

Having gone to the Metropolitan Museum and connecting deeply with the work of the ancients, has helped shift a feeling inside about our work.

We have always considered our work to be a sacred practice for us, one we do with great joy, happiness, and deep respect for its gift to us. We also know it is a gift that benenfits many people.

Being present in the work of the ancients allowed us to once again feel the enveloping gift that creativity holds for you. For you beyond market object and business plan and advertising plan.

The ancients created because it was part of their community, part of their practice, part of what was called for in order to be connected to the bigger larger beyond.

Our connection is there, our connection is with the expression, our connection is with the Divine that surrounds and is within. It is the spirit of our work and the expression of our relationship within ourselves and with those around us.

And it is timeless. We were able to be with the expressions of Divine Purpose in the Met and feel current to its meaning and its connected expression. We felt what we feel from our own work, and so we felt and feel part of a connected thread woven from the ancient to the present. Truly a gift, truly a great treasure for us.

Our work is about the inside and how the inside can expand and create within an outer world. We found compatriots, companions, fellow artisans, weavers of worlds, at the Met. We met who we were, who we are, and who we are becoming.
