We had a wonderful trip down the St. George River from Warren to Thomaston
this morning.
Took the high tide down the river, so we barely needed to paddle. We could just float
along and look at the scenery. We had a pair of Golden Eagles following us the entire way.
We saw red wing blackbirds, osprey, cormorants, kingfishers, the pair of eagles, and lots
of fish jumping for bugs, and one beaver followed us for a bit.
At the end of the journey, Sandra met us and we ate lunch at the harbor. She ported the kayaks
and us back to Warren, before heading on to work.
A beautiful day, especially since the next two days we're supposed to get rain.
